3rd Annual Greensboro Palestinian Poetry Night

Greensboro’s Annual Palestinian Poetry night. Two years ago two young women from Greensboro decided to hold a poetry night during Israel’s attack on Gaza and now it has become a Greensboro tradition.

The Palestinian Poetry night is an umbrella event in which people of all different backgrounds come and share pieces that honor and value the human existence, whether that is in solidarity with the Palestinian cause, other troubled populations, or social justice issues in general. We invite you to come enjoy an evening of Middle Eastern art and let your ears be flooded with the beauty of lyrical invasion.

If you are interested in sharing a piece, please email us at gsopalpoetry@gmail.com or contact Courtney Payne or Suja Sawafta and we will give you a slot. There will be several empty spots within our program but please do not count on that.

Admission is free but please support our local business The Fruit Bar and buy a drink.
