I could not allow a new year to begin without acknowledging the hard work and effort that we put forth in 2012. Without your support, it would have been impossible for us to energize the neighbors in our communities to transform lives and landscapes.

From the bottom of my heart, I would like to give you a giant THANK YOU for the work, time, money, and most importantly, the love that you invested in Project InSPAration, Clean Up to Green Up, and the Polar Bear Express Pajama Party.

As we begin our journey into 2013, I wish that you continue to shine your light onto the dark corners of our world. Remember to touch the places and to love the people that others so easily forget. Continue to be a beautiful reflection of the grace, joy, hope and peace of the eternal Creator.

In this new year, release yourself from the thoughts, habits, and statements that you have created in an effort to protect yourself from others. Their only true purpose is to barricade yourself from the joy of others and the fullness of your own life – not to safeguard your heart, spare your emotions or make the few bitters of life less sour.

If you want to talk to someone call. If you want to know an answer, ask a question. If you want to be loved, love. If you want to be happy, choose to be. Celebrate this year, and all forthcoming years, in honesty and truth. Happy New Year!
