If you remember those words, then here’s your chance to serve your community and be a real Planeteer! Or planter actually. Come volunteer for CLEAN UP to GREEN UP, a community initiative led by Prince George’s County to keep Gorgeous Prince George’s looking great!  

Be a Planeteer!

On Saturday, October 20th from 9am to 1pm gather together with residents, neighbors, friends, and other volunteers to complete several landscaping projects to beautify the area in Capitol Heights surrounding Gethsemane United Methodist Church.  There will be trash-picking, tree-planting, weed-pulling, and flower pruning. *Breakfast will be provided to all volunteers & students will be able to receive community service credit hours.*

Now you won’t get to meet the real Captain Planet or get one of those fancy rings, but after all your hard work join in on the Communal Soup Feast and help judge in the Chili Cook-Off.
