Heath Lynn, a local artist who works in at Performance Bike Shop and Ed McKay’s. We talked for awhile at my good friend Ashabi’s housewarming.  Heath does it all. He’s completed murals for Clevelnd Cavailers player Antwan Jamison. Polar Bears and Penguins. 🙂

His current work focuses on re-presenting and figuring out.  He walked me through one of his recent grid projects where he completes sudukou puzzles using 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.  1s are white and and 9’s are black. Everything in between is shaded in a gray scale. Very intelligent, because I can barely complete a sudoku puzzle with the numbers. 

Heath has studied in Florence, Italy and Rhode Island. In 2003 Heath completed his BFA at the Savannah Institute of Art and Design  and finished MFA at the University of North Carolina in 2010.
