On Thursday September 16, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm join Ignite Greensboro for the screening of The Trials of Darryl Hunt. The documentary explores the case of Winston-Salem native Darryl Hunt who spent 19 years in prison for a wrongful conviction for the rape and murder of a reporter. The film examines the implications of race in the justice system, as well as examines the rhetoric and ideology that is prominent in the American justice system. A discussion will follow the screening.
