For nearly a year,  I worked with Dr. Kenvi Phillips ,Assistant Librarian at Moorland-Spingarn Library to produce an exhibition commemorating the 200th year of Asbury United Methodist Church in Annapolis, Maryland. Church’s congregation traces back to as early as the 1770s. Throughout the years, Asbury UMC has been an instrumental foundation in the African-American Annapolitan community.
